Area monitoring with the Radius® BZ1 from Industrial Scientific is the advanced solution for temporary stationary monitoring.
Radius BZ1 is often used in connection with shut down, construction work and the like. Typically, this is in situations where a large number of employees must work in a limited area. It may not be cost effective or necessary to equip each individual with a personal gas detector.

Area monitoring can also be used to control the supply voltage, so that non-ATEX approved tools can be brought into explosion hazardous zones.

If a Radius BZ1 is combined with a Ventis Pro 5 gas detector, you can see your colleagues’ alarm levels, connect to area detectors and share alarms.
In addition, your alarm can be connected to a remote control center so that all gas levels can be read in control rooms, security offices and the like. This means that even if you are alone in the field, your colleagues have the opportunity to react if something should happen to you.

The detector can detect for up to 7 different gases simultaneously, using 18 sensor options and PID. At the same time, you get the largest screen on the market and you have the option to customize the alarm messages.

The sound alarm is 108 dB and can break through noisy work environments, so you are sure to be able to hear when the alarm goes off and get away from the area.
