Analyzers are used to analyze the composition of an atmosphere in an area, or to tell about the gas composition in a process.

It could, for example, be a biogas plant, where the gas can be of fluctuating quality, and some gases cause corrosion of the natural gas pipes. The natural gas analyzer reveals how many percentages of CO₂, methane, H₂S etc. are in the gas. It also tells if the oxygen level becomes too high, so that there is a danger of explosion.

Other tasks are unwanted oxygen during soldering processes, nitrogen in food packaging, or within the pharmaceutical industry.
