Stationary VOC detector TVOC 2 from Ion Science is a stationary continuous PID detector which measures and detects total volatile organic gases, TVOCs. The sensor’s photo ionization detection (PID) properties provide increased resistance to moisture and contamination.

The TVOC is a robust detector with a selectable detection range of 0-10 ppm, 0-100 ppm or 0-1000 ppm. It is ideal for use in manufacturing and process industries where VOCs are typically present.

With a 4-20mA analogue output, the TVOC can be easily integrated into a DCS system and can provide alarms and activate control of high VOC levels in the working environment.

The unit is ATEX approved and this means that the system can be used in Zone2 areas, without safety barriers.

The system is easy to install, service and calibrate and requires no special training. The PID sensor is easily accessible and replaceable within a few seconds.

The TVOC is part of a line of VOC detectors that includes the handheld ProCheck Tiger, PhoCheck+ and FirstCheck+ instruments.
