Recognized gas flow meter K-BAR 2000 from Kurz
Gas flow meter K-BAR 2000, from Kurz, is a recognized standard for measuring mass-flow velocities in larger ducts and chimneys. These are locations that may have non-uniform velocity profiles, high turn-down ratios, contaminated gas streams, wide temperature ranges, and rapid velocity and temperature changes.
The device uses up to 4 sensors to measure redundancy and to ensure the accuracy of data. It is robust and can withstand the high vibrations found in large industrial stacks and ducts.
K-Bar 2000 is economical, both in terms of start-up and maintenance costs.
Important applications are flow measurement of combustion air and mass flow measurement in chimneys for continuous determination of emissions.
- EPA Chimney mass flow meters for clean air reactions
- Primary, secondary and tertiary boiler combustion control
- Municipal waste incineration
- Flaming gas measurement
- Recovery boilers
