Flame detector SharpEye 40/40 series – designed for all types of fire
Flame detector SharpEye 40/40 from Spectrex complies with the new European standards EN54-10
A flame detector gives an alarm as soon as it detects a flame. So where a gas detector measures the gas, the flame detector measures whether a flame occurs.
SharpEye detectors are designed for all types of fires. Their abilities to analyze spectra give them a high level of confidence.
Flame detectors are designed to operate in even the harshest environments and are independent stand-alone units, with direct connection to control and alarm systems or automatic fire extinguishing systems.
The SharpEye 40/40 series is a series of detectors that have the latest technological functions and approvals for the industry. The units provide improved reliability and durability, with a 5-year warranty. They all have a heated window to withstand the harsh environment and have HART output to provide quality information during installation or maintenance.
The units are approved for “dangerous areas” in the form of e.g. ATEX Zone 1 and is third-party approved for performance in relation to EN54-10, FM and DNV.
